Pit Bull Terrier - Medium - Young - Male - Dog - Catfish
Description
This is Catfish-he is a small young pit bull who was rescued by a very generous person who found him nearly mauled to death-she sponsored him in full during his recovery (thank you good samaritan). Catfish has completely recovered now and is ready to be adopted-outside of a few scars on his face, you would never know he had been injured (if you would like to see his "before picture", you can become a fan of Humane Society of Terrell County on Facebook and look under our photo album of pets needing medical attention). We do not know the circumstances surrounding Catfish being mauled. What we can tell you is that this is a loving, sweet boy-he adores people-his tail never stops wagging and he will love and kiss on you for as long as you let him-he considers himself a lap dog. He loves kids of all ages. He is suspicious of other dogs-after what he has been through, this is understandable. He isn't necessarily dog aggressive but he is uncomfortable with other canines so he would be better suited to a one dog household. He needs a fenced in yard for outdoor playtime but he needs to be primarily an indoor dog-he is current on shots, neutered, crate trained/housebroken and on heartworm prevention. After everything Catfish has gone through, we really would like to see him adopted to a loving home-he is a very good dog that just found himself in a bad situation-he deserves a good home.
